AQINAC, ANAC and their partners invite you to the Symposium on Mycotoxins.

This national event, with simultaneous translation, will gather speakers from Quebec, Canada and France who will review the last research results and knowledge in the field of managing mycotoxins.

In the morning, the Symposium presents four conferences that will cover the issue: field crops, animal health and nutrition, Canadian and European regulations and the presentation of a technology for the processing of contaminated grains. In the afternoon, the participants will choose between two interactive workshops - plant or animal sectors - where the theme of the day will be the star: Risk management, from seed to feed!

These workshops, led by experts, will approach the risk management for a better control of the mycotoxins from the sowing to the crop management while introducing the best cultivars and hybrids to be used and the good management of stored grains. On the animal side, antitoxins products, diagnostic tests and impacts of mycotoxins on nutrition and animal health will compose the schedule. A plenary session and a cocktail will end this day where the participants and the experts can exchange.

In 2009, a first edition had gathered 275 participants concerned by mycotoxins in agriculture. In 2012, the interest for this fungal infection of crops is always current and that is why this day is important for you.

We are looking forward to meet you on December 11th!
